Job Duties:

• Work closely with instructors, students, and management to develop and support wireless/wired networks
• Develop and document a new wireless network at the new facility
• Migrate three networks to a new facility
• Document Accreditation and Authorization (A&A) activities
• Administer computer networks and perform network architecture tasks
• Work with Cloud migration technologies (Microsoft Azure)
• Implement recommended new network technologies
• Collaborate with vendors and coordinate network support
• Perform day-to-day network maintenance and administration
• Design and configure networks as needed
• Participate in internal and external meetings
• Assist in short-term and long-term network planning
• Create and present state-of-the-art network architecture to management

Mandatory Skills and Experience:

• Designing and deploying wireless networks
• Installing applications on Windows systems (Servers and Desktops)
• Working with MECM
• Deployment task sequencing
• Desktop and network hardware experience
• Systems and network accreditation process
• Cisco Umbrella services
• Office products for network design documentation
• Cisco Meraki
• Architecting Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems
• Windows Active Directory infrastructure design
• Vendor collaboration for bill of materials
• Cloud technology (AWS and Azure)
• Third-party software maintenance and deployment products
• Layer two and layer three technologies expertise

Desired Skills:

• Developing and managing Microsoft Azure environments
• Taking customer requirements and architecting network solutions incorporating:
  • Data requirements
  • Voice requirements
