We are seeking an experienced Windows Systems Administrator to join our team in a critical infrastructure role. This position requires 1,860 annual hours and focuses on comprehensive Windows environment management across enterprise systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, supporting, and deploying Windows operating systems while ensuring optimal security posture and performance across both physical and virtual server environments.
Key responsibilities include managing Windows Server infrastructures, maintaining database systems, implementing security protocols, performing system updates and patches, conducting performance optimization, and supporting virtualized environments. The role requires hands-on experience with enterprise-level Windows administration, including troubleshooting complex system issues, automating routine tasks through scripting, and ensuring business continuity through proper backup and recovery procedures.
• Demonstrated experience with Windows systems engineering and administration across enterprise environments
• Proven expertise with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) database administration and management
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS) implementation and management
• Demonstrated proficiency in VM cluster configuration, deployment, and maintenance
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization platform administration
• Proven experience with Microsoft Data Protection Manager for backup and recovery operations
• Advanced PowerShell scripting capabilities for automation and system management tasks
• Experience with Windows Server operating systems including Server 2016, Server 2019, and Server 2022
• Proficiency with Windows desktop operating systems including Windows 10 and Windows 11
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Group Policy Management for enterprise-wide configuration management
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) for centralized patch management
• Experience with virtualization technologies including VMware and Hyper-V environments
• Microsoft certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or Azure Administrator Associate
• Experience with cloud integration and hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS)
• Knowledge of network infrastructure and TCP/IP protocols
• Experience with monitoring tools such as System Center Operations Manager (SCOM)
• Familiarity with IT service management frameworks and ticketing systems
• Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance frameworks
• Experience with automation tools beyond PowerShell (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
• Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with backup solutions beyond Data Protection Manager
• Knowledge of Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) and identity management
