Containerization & Orchestration (Critical Skills)
- Docker: Container creation, management, optimization, and security
- Kubernetes: Container orchestration, deployment, scaling, and cluster management
- Container Registries: Experience with Docker Hub, ECR, Harbor
- Helm Charts: Package management for Kubernetes applications
Operating Systems & Scripting
- Linux: Advanced system administration, troubleshooting, and optimization
- Scripting Languages: Python, Bash, Shell scripting for automation
- Infrastructure Automation: Automated provisioning and configuration management
- System Monitoring: Log analysis and system performance monitoring
CI/CD Pipeline Development
- GitLab: CI/CD pipeline creation, management, and optimization
- Jenkins: Build automation, deployment pipelines, and plugin management
- Version Control: Advanced Git workflows, branching strategies, and merge practices
- Artifact Management: Binary repository management and deployment automation
- Pipeline Security: Secure code scanning and vulnerability management
Infrastructure & Monitoring Tools
- Storage Provisioning: Persistent storage solutions and management
- Prometheus: Metrics collection, alerting rules, and monitoring setup
- Grafana: Dashboard creation, data visualization, and alert management
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
- Configuration Management: Automated configuration and compliance
ADVANCED/SENIOR LEVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP experience with DevOps services
- Microservices: Experience with microservice deployment and management
- Security Integration: DevSecOps practices, vulnerability scanning, compliance automation
- Performance Optimization: Application and infrastructure performance tuning
- Disaster Recovery: Backup strategies, failover automation, and business continuity
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Service Mesh: Istio, Linkerd, or Consul Connect experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines for multiple development teams
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and scaling
- Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
- Ensure security best practices throughout the development lifecycle
- Optimize system performance and resource utilization
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues
- Maintain high availability and disaster recovery capabilities
